🚗 By Road
⭐ Our Recommendation

Volvo Bus is the most convenient option for guests traveling directly from Delhi. Comfortable overnight Volvo buses depart daily from Kashmere Gate ISBT, Delhi directly to Tibetan Colony, Bir.

🎫 How to Book:
Book online via the redBus Website / App at least a few days in advance (please book via the app/website only and not offline).

⏰ Preferred Timing:
Select an evening departure between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

🚌 Recommended Buses (Volvo 9600):
Please ensure you select a Volvo 9600 coach for maximum comfort. Recommended operators include:
  • Ram Dalal Holidays (Volvo 9600)
  • Reobus PRO (Volvo 9600)
  • New Himalayan Travel (Volvo 9600)
📍 Boarding Point:
ISBT Kashmere Gate (Inside the Kashmere Gate bus terminal, NOT outside on the road).
• Nearest Metro Gate: Gate No. 7 / 8
• Platform: Usually platforms 55, 56, 57, 58, or 59 (redBus shares the exact platform 2 days in advance).
• Important Note: Please arrive well in advance, as Kashmere Gate ISBT is typically crowded in the evening. Also, eat Light while travelling in Bus. Prefer South Indian Food

Select Tibetan Colony, Bir as your drop-off point (do not choose Bir Road).

Driving / Self-drive: approx. 470 km (9 – 10 hrs)
Route: Delhi → Ambala → Chandigarh → Kiratpur → Una → Nangal → Bir
🚂 By Train
From Delhi: Train upto (AADR) Amb Andaura Railway Station and then Cab to BIR
Distance to Bir From Amb Andaura Railway Station: 130 km (Taxi: approx. 2.5 – 3.5 hrs)
Direct trains from New Delhi: Train No. 22447 Vande Bharat Express & Train No. 14053 Himachal Express.

For Guests Traveling from Jharkhand & West Bengal:
Opt for 12311 Netaji Express and get down at Chandigarh Railway Station at 1:30 AM. From Chandigarh, hire a direct cab to Bir (approx. 7 hours drive) to comfortably reach the venue in the morning between 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM.
⚠️ Important Station Tip: Please do not get down at Kalka station. Make sure to choose Chandigarh Railway Station if coming by 12311 Netaji Express.

Not Recommended: Station: Pathankot Railway Station (approx. 140 km to Bir).
